If I have eris use skstream-0.3 (using the attached skstream-0.3.patch), I get
the following
g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/usr/include/Atlas-C++-0.4/
-I/usr/lib/sigc++-1.2/include -I/usr/include/sigc++-1.2
-I/usr/include/skstream-0.3 -I/usr/lib/skstream-0.3/include
-I/usr/include/Atlas-C++-0.4 -I/usr/include/wfmath-0.2 -march=pentium3 -mmmx
-mfpmath=sse -msse -Wall -ansi -c BaseConnection.cpp -MT BaseConnection.lo -MD
-MP -MF .deps/BaseConnection.TPlo  -fPIC -DPIC -o BaseConnection.lo
BaseConnection.cpp: In member function `void
BaseConnection.cpp:148: error: `is_ready' undeclared (first use this function)
BaseConnection.cpp:148: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only
   once for each function it appears in.)
make[3]: *** [BaseConnection.lo] Error 1

Which is fixed by renaming is_ready to isReady (patch included as
is_ready.patch) in eris/Eris/BaseConenction.cpp:148.

Which then leads me to this error:

g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/usr/include/Atlas-C++-0.4/
-I/usr/lib/sigc++-1.2/include -I/usr/include/sigc++-1.2
-I/usr/include/skstream-0.3 -I/usr/lib/skstream-0.3/include
-I/usr/include/Atlas-C++-0.4 -I/usr/include/wfmath-0.2 -march=pentium3 -mmmx
-mfpmath=sse -msse -Wall -ansi -c Metaserver.cpp -MT Metaserver.lo -MD -MP -MF
.deps/Metaserver.TPlo  -fPIC -DPIC -o Metaserver.lo
Metaserver.cpp: In member function `void Eris::Meta::connect()':
Metaserver.cpp:76: error: `remote_host' undeclared (first use this function)
Metaserver.cpp:76: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once for
   each function it appears in.)
Metaserver.cpp:76: error: parse error before `(' token
Metaserver.cpp:77: error: `metaserver_data' undeclared (first use this
make[2]: *** [Metaserver.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/eris-0.9.8/Eris'

I did not find any references (short grep through skstream-0.3 includes) to
remote_host nore metaserver_data, so I'm not sure where these changed from.
