[WF-General] Compiling atlas-c++ (cvs)

Well, now that I have atlas-python (thanks Michael), I've run into the following
problem with atlas-c++ (cvs).

python gen_cpp.py && touch flag.cpp
/usr/lib/python2.3/xmllib.py:9: DeprecationWarning: The xmllib module is
obsolete.  Use xml.sax instead.
  warnings.warn("The xmllib module is obsolete. Use xml.sax instead.",
DeprecationWarning)
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "gen_cpp.py", line 692, in ?
    spec_xml_string = open("../../../../protocols/atlas/spec/atlas.xml").read()
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'../../../../protocols/atlas/spec/atlas.xml'
make[4]: *** [flag.cpp] Error 1

It looks as though atlas.xml is hardcoded as though I were compiling from a
straight CVS checkout of the entire WF CVS tree (well, at least protocols and
libs/Atlas-C++). Am I (as a packager) supposed to make a "protocols" package to
install this file (which won't fix the hard-coded problem)?

I also found four atlas.xml files in the CVS repo[0], should there only be one
central, up-to-date, file?

[0] Here are the atlas.xml files I found:
./servers/indri/src/atlas.xml
./servers/logicmoo/world/atlas.xml
./protocols/atlas/spec/atlas.xml
./clients/silence-py/atlas.xml
